Join us for a 4 -part series curated by Khury Petersen-Smith that features a series of conversations around Palestine. Part one of the series features Palestinian journalist and scholar, Rami Khouri. This conversation will explore colonialism in the Middle East, and Khouri's reflections on a life of pursuing public conversation in the interest of a freer world for all. 


Rami Khouri is a Palestinian journalist and scholar who was born in 1948. He is a longtime journalist, an analyst, and scholar who now lives in Cambridge. His most recent book is Understanding Hamas and Why That Matters, which he edited with Helena Cobin. In this conversation, we will discuss his insights about this moment in colonialism in the Middle East, and his reflections on a life of pursuing public conversation in the interest of a freer world for all.
