Freedom Sounds: Solidago

Freedom Sounds is a live music series that occurs every Tuesday. This week will feature Berklee College of Music alum, student, or professor. This week will feature Solidago, a jazz and neo-soul vocalist.

Meet Solidago (Ella Wheeler), a Maryland-born bassist and songwriter who paints life’s tapestry through music. At Berklee College of Music, she continues to nurture her craft, blending jazz, neo-soul, and pop to tell stories of love, nature, and self-discovery. Influenced by legends such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, and Corinne Bailey Rae, Solidago weaves poetic lyrics and colorful harmonies into vibrant, emotive soundscapes.
