Getting Organized for the Time We Are In

The re-election of our incoming President is ushering in a time of increased oppression and the systematic dismantling of many of the policies and institutions that offer some protection to different groups of people and our shared environment. Many of us are feeling overwhelmed by what is and what is coming; it can be hard to know how to move or act when we are feeling overwhelmed. Fear is a very effective tool of oppression and authoritarians. When we organize together to care for each other and resist oppression, moving through out fears, we create the space to build the world in which all of us can flourish.

This workshop is a space for existing groups and folks from communities to come together to: 1) deepen community, 2) learn effective strategies for resistance, and 3) to deepen the networks and supports that will help us survive this next chapter in…
