Yaw Osafo-Kantanka, creatively crowned King Yaw, is a Ghanaian artist: poet, actor, educator and a recent LAMDA graduate. Alongside his acting pursuits, King Yaw tours the world as a poet, a crowned 2025 World Poetry Champion. His work focuses on African identity, immigration, family and self-love. On stage, King Yaw becomes his stories, channels language through time and space to give the audience a cathartic experience.
