About the event
Black women and Black femmes in Greater Boston are invited to Like One of the Family: a Book Circle to read together and help spark a new puppetry performance. Artists, makers and radical dreamers are especially encouraged to join—particularly those curious or knowledgeable about puppetry, dramaturgy, and embodied object movement. Participants will receive a copy of Like One of the Family by Alice Childress and an invitation to a complimentary puppetry workshop in 2026.
