In this workshop, Dr. Kim Parker and Dr. Nicholl Montgomery discuss what is “grade level reading” and how to find out if your child is reading on grade level. Participants will understand how to determine reading levels, how to support and challenge their children are receiving literacy support.

Everyone deserves a rich reading life, especially children. Join two literacy experts for this family literacy series that aims to help families support the reading lives of their children. Each workshop will include a short teach-in about the topic, time for conferencing with literacy experts, and a curated list of resources available to continue your children’s reading journey. Participants can attend any or all of the series.
