Join us for a lecture and discussion in partnership with Massachusetts Action for Justice and Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance for a talk and discussion on the history of redlining and blockbusting that have historically targeted Black and Brown communities the Dorchester and Mattapan. Not only will facilitators discuss the past but also current limitations and possibility associated with the futurity of homeownership for Black Brown families.
Lew Finfer is the Director of MA Action for Justice. He’s been a community organizer in Massachusetts since 1970 working with groups at the neighborhood, city, and state levels.
In the 1970’s he worked in Dorchester with Dorchester Tenants Action Council (DTAC, Dorchester Community Action Council (DCAC), and then with Dorchester Fair Share that was part of Massachusetts Fair Share.
