The top four poets from this preliminary slam will each receive a $50 cash prize and quality for the Individual Slam Finals on April 11, 2026. From the Finals, the top five poets will form the Mass Poetry slam team and go on to compete at Brave New Voices, an international youth poetry slam festival

About the event
